Drawbridges from the Water

Drawbridge boat cruise in SPb is the city's signature experience. From the water, it's completely different: you don't just watch the bridge — you pass under it as it opens.

Draw schedule (navigation season: April-November):

• 🌉 Palace Bridge — 1:10 / 2:50 (most spectacular)
• 🌉 Trinity Bridge — 1:20 / 4:50
• 🌉 Liteyny Bridge — 1:40 / 4:40
• 🌉 Blagoveshchensky Bridge — 1:25 / 5:00

A night cruise typically lasts 1.5-2 hours. The boat picks you up around midnight and you sail down the Neva, watching bridges draw one by one. On board: blankets, hot tea, audio system.

Most popular boats for night cruises: Prosseco (Chaparral 190) — up to 6 guests, from 5 000 RUB/h; Neft (Black Bowrider) — up to 8 guests, from 9 000 RUB/h; Breath of Wind (Bayliner 305) — up to 9 guests, from 12 000 RUB/h, with cabin.

For a night cruise under the drawbridges, one route is ideal:

• 🌙 Grand Neva — Night Format (1.5-2 hours) — Peter and Paul Fortress illuminated at night, Spit of Vasilievsky Island with Rostral Columns, Winter Palace, Palace Bridge (draws at 1:10), Trinity Bridge (draws at 1:20), Cruiser Aurora, Summer Garden, Admiralty, Bronze Horseman, St. Isaac's Cathedral. Nighttime Petersburg from the water is a completely different city: mysterious, illuminated, majestic. You pass under the raised bridge spans — an unforgettable sight.

The captain will adjust the route to the drawbridge schedule so you see the maximum. Departure around midnight, return by 2:00–2:30.
